Point Blue hires biologists, environmental scientists, environmental engineers, geologists/hydrogeologists, and field services professionals. Preferred qualifications for these roles include a bachelors degree in the specific discipline, experience working with an environmental consulting firm, and HAZWOPER training (if applicable).

Environmental Engineer
Assist Professional Engineer with environmental remediation projects.
Able to perform engineering calculations.
Assist in the preparation of technical reports and engineering specifications.
Qualifications for Environmental Engineer:
Environmental Engineering degree, minimum 1 to 3 years of related experience
Engineer-in-Training certification
Detailed knowledge of relevant regulations with EGLE, MIOSHA, OSHA, and EPA
Detail-oriented and able to perform engineering calculations
Strong verbal and written communication skills
40-Hour OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations (HAZWOPER) a plus
Must be able to drive vehicle to project sites
Self-proficient and motivated
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Outlook
Environmental Professional (Geologist/Environmental Scientist)
Perform environmental due diligence for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) consistent with ASTM standards.
Conduct Phase II site investigations including field work and sampling of soil, groundwater, and/or soil gas.
Data management and prepare technical documents such as Phase I ESAs, Phase IIs, Baseline Environmental Assessments, and due care plans.
Qualifications for Environmental Professional:
Bachelor of Science degree, minimum of 1-2 years of related experience
Detailed knowledge of relevant regulations with EGLE, MIOSHA, OSHA, and EPA
Strong verbal and written communication skills
40-Hour OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations (HAZWOPER) a plus
Must be able to drive vehicle to project sites
Self-proficient and motivated
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Outlook
Biologist
Assist Senior Biologist with Natural Resources projects.
Able to write both scientific and technical reports.
Able to complete local, state, and federal permit applications and project reports.
Able to professionally interact with clients and regulators.
Able to physically conduct site visits and perform field work in sand dunes, wetlands, rivers, lakes, and streams.
Able to prepare figures and reports.
Able to work independently or as part of a team.
Able to read and develop site plans.
Able to draft proposals and consulting agreements.
Qualifications for Biologist:
Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Sciences Field
Minimum 1-3 years related field experience (plant identification a plus)
Knowledge of Environmental laws and Regulatory agencies
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to drive vehicle to project sites
Self-proficient and motivated
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Outlook
